Originally from the U.K., I am an educator whose experience spans across three continents. Having spent over 20 years in elementary and high school classrooms and 13 years in elementary administration, my experience and training have given me insight on how to meet the needs of exceptional learners in regular classrooms. My interventionist approach and deep commitment to understanding and supporting all students led me to the area of executive functioning. My primary areas of focus have been on coaching students for academic success while building skills and self-confidence, mentoring faculty for instructional excellence, and establishing positive learning environments. My over 30 years in the field of education enables me to combine old-school, tried and tested approaches with cutting edge psychology and tools.

In conjunction with my work at Mulberry Coaching, I am presently partnering with Laurie Faith at Activated Learning as a Level III trainer and Creative Collaborator, bringing EF training to teachers and therefore to students directly in their classrooms. Two school boards have already adopted this approach in Ontario, Canada, and I feel extremely fortunate to be working with Laurie to introduce it here in California. When Iā€™m not coaching, Laurie and I are immersed in research, writing and leadership activities.
